Ron’s inexplicable BIOS fear-mongering continues. From what I’ve seen, Dominion mostly uses Dell enterprise workstations.

These BIOS options are standard on all Dell enterprise workstations.

If this is a taste of anything, it’s a nothing-burger.

To elaborate on why this is a nothing-burger: Dominion would have to create a custom BIOS and then flash that custom BIOS to all of their equipment before shipping it out. That also means they’d have to roll their own updates to fix any BIOS security issues.

Not that it’s impossible to do, but it’s not trivial and the risk of a successful attack targeting PXE boots is probably low enough that it wouldn’t make sense to take on the extra overhead of managing a custom BIOS.

BIOS based attacks also typically require physical access

Yet again, the fraud crowd presents evidence that something could happen as evidence something did happen.

Someone could pick the lock to your front door. But can’t be arrested for breaking and entering on potential alone…you’d need some proof a crime was committed
