Taking another look at the archives of http://everylegalvote.com - a site that sprung up a week after the 2020 election, and had ties to ASOG and the Liberty Center for God and Country

I talked about Liberty Center here:

And The Daily Beast covered them here

No promises this thread will yield anything useful, but I'm going to brain dump as I go

First question: Who the hell is Benjamin Nieuwsma and why is he the author of EveryLegalVotes "oopsie we helped fuel a coup attempt" post J6 letter?

[tweet] [link]
In early 2020, a NH gubernatorial candidate posted a tweet tagging Benjamin alongside Kevin Freeman, from Economic War Room. Benjamin RT'd it.

Freeman and Economic War Room were both heavily involved with EveryLegalVote.

Ben's name also appears in this letter by the Conservative Action Project, dated Feb 2020, where they argue against a national public vote because it would weaken the electoral college. Could this have been a hedge related to the alternate slate scheme? http://conservativeactionproject.com/conservatives-must-defend-the-electoral-college-and-stop-the-national-popular-vote-interstate-compact-npv/

Oh look, John Eastman also signed onto that letter.

Again, it was posted 9 months BEFORE the 2020 election.

As @TheOddPost calls out, CAP was brought up again recently by @UrbanAchievr

[tweet] [link]
.@mikeydoubled also points out that Ben may have some association with Rod Martin. If you peek up a few tweets, you'll notice that Rod also signed that 2/2020 letter.

Looks like @gal_suburban has also dug into EveryLegalVote, so I highly suggest reviewing their thread as well!

Weird sidebar: One of the EveryLegalVote PDF's mentions http://checkyourvote.org - a site that I had completely forgotten about. I couldn't get the archives to load, but I came across http://checkyourvote.us, which is the same site. Turns out it's owned by one Benjamin Barber

[tweet] [link]
Benjamin Barber is an outstanding citizen who was previously convicted of revenge porn, and has a long digital trail of involvement with GamerGate. Just the kinda guy you'd want your election integrity organization to partner with!

Here's a letter from ELV addressed to the Repub Sen Caucus, urging them to object to the slates of electors, less they be "held personally accountable for the predictable consequences"

It was written by Frank Gaffney on 12/16

https://web.archive.org/web/20201226063133/https://everylegalvote.com/assets/pdfs/OpenLettertoGOPSenateCaucus.pdf

[tweet] [link]
Gaffney founded the Center for Security Policy, and is labeled by SPLC as "one of America's most notorious Islmaphobes".

He's also paid Ginni Thomas over $200k.

[tweet] [link]
I haven't previously seen Gaffney's name come up in association with the stop the steal efforts. Outside of writing this letter, it's unclear how involved he was - but it's disturbing to think that he had a hand in EveryLegalVote and once had Ginni Thomas on his payroll

Here's a letter addressed to Barr/DOJ dated 12/11/20 & urges him to act on executive order 13848 - the same order that was cited in the draft executive order that Politico published. Attached is a memo that @UrbanAchievr recently sourced to Cleta Mitchell

https://web.archive.org/web/20201226063111/https://everylegalvote.com/assets/pdfs/OpenLettertoDOJRev.pdf

[tweet] [link]
That letter also contains the same claims about Soros' alleged tampering/interference that we've seen from the ASOG/Powell/Byrne camp

[tweet] [link]
Here's another link to the Center for Security Policy: this letter addressed to the MI Leg lists the author as Tommy Waller.

It also references tweets by Ron Watkins and the ASOG Antrim report

https://centerforsecuritypolicy.org/author/tommy-waller/

[tweet] [link]
Ah, check out this post on the CSP site, written by Waller, and advertising a webinar featuring Phil Waldron and Frank Gaffney.

[tweet] [link]
There's more: back in October, they had Russ Ramsland from ASOG along with Kevin Freeman from Economic War Room (both Russ and Kevin were involved with ELV), and Hans Von Spakovsky from the Heritage Institute

[tweet] [link]
Enjoy this special slice of hell: a voter fraud themed parody of the 12 days of christmas, that was on the Every Legal Vote website

[tweet] [link]
Finally, there's this: yet another draft document discussing - in detail - the strategy Pence should use to object to the electoral votes for PA, GA, MI, WI, AZ, NV, and NM. It was authored by Joseph Schmitz, a former inspector general for the DOD and Blackwater Executive

[tweet] [link]
Joseph Schmitz is also the source of that text message sent to Jim Jordan, which Jordan eventually forwarded to Mark Meadows
