I have to break Twitter hiatus for this. The indictment is up: https://lede-admin.coloradosun.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2022/03/Indictment.pdf

It confirms my initial hunch: that someone assumed Gerald Wood’s identity during the trusted build process.

What I didn’t suspect is just how bad Tina Peters screwed Wood over.

[tweet] [link]
To recap: when Ron Watkins was doing a live walk through of the stolen Mesa County images during Lindell's Cyber Symposium, he stopped to make an announcement that "Conan James Hayes" took hard drives from the Mesa County clerk

[tweet] [link]
Once the images were publicly released, it was also quickly revealed that the "Examiner" name recorded by the forensic imaging software (which is cryptographically signed to prevent tampering) was listed as "cjh"

[tweet] [link]
So, it certainly seemed like Conan Hayes was behind the illegal imaging of election equipment in Mesa County, but things were complicated when it was announced someone named "Gerald Wood" may have been involved as well

[tweet] [link]
That brings us to today.

Per the indictment, Tina Peters - who again, is running for CO SoS - worked with two employees in her office, Sandra Brown and Belinda Knisley, to STEAL WOODS IDENTITY in order to obtain access to the county IT systems and a badge in Wood's name.

Gerald Wood was not present or involved with any of the illegal activity that took place.

Yet as a direct result of the actions of Tina Peters, Sandra Brown and Belinda Knisley, his house was searched on 8/10/21 and he had quite a bit of property seized.

Ok, let's walk through the timeline to get a better idea of how this all unfolded.

In April 2021, Peters started to try and get permission from the CO SoS office to allow members of the public to observe the trusted build.

The SoS office shut that down.

[tweet] [link]
April 23, 2021 - Peters, Knisley, Brown, "and others" had a discussion regarding supposed vulnerabilities in the voting system. Peters was told it would be illegal to open the machines and there was a conversation about bringing in a team to help

[tweet] [link]
Also on 4/23: Tina Peters attended a presentation given by Doug Frank.

I'd imagine it was during that presentation that the conversation above took place, and it was likely Doug Frank who discussed "bringing in a team who could help"

Video of that presentation is available here, btw:

April 26, 2021, Peter's is once again told that only county election staff is authorized to be present during the trusted build.

Regardless, on May 13th, Knisley and Peters begin the process of getting county IT/email access and a badge created for an "IT Person".

[tweet] [link]
May 17th, Knisley shuts off the surveillance cameras and asks another employee in the office to run a background check on Gerald Wood, who Knisley said was a new "admin assistant"

May 18th, Brown emails the CO SoS and says that Gerald Wood would be present for the trusted build.

[tweet] [link]
May 19, Wood picks up his badge from Mesa County HR. That same day he was "required to return his access badge to Ms. Knisley" after meeting with her and Peters.

It's unclear if Underwood assisted the actual Gerald Wood with logging in to the network, or the fake Gerald Wood.

May 23 - Peters, Brown, & Fake Wood badge in to the election offices. This is the date the 1st image was taken of the election system.

May 25/26 - Peters introduces Fake Wood to Dominion and CO SoS employees who were present to conduct the trusted build. 2nd image was taken 5/26

[tweet] [link]
Note the bottom of the image: Real Gerald Wood testified that he was not present on either 5/23, or 5/25 and 5/26, and his whereabouts were corroborated by evidence presented to the Grand Jury.

[tweet] [link]
And that's pretty much it. News breaks of the surreptitious images beginning on early August (courtesy of Ron Watkins' Telegram posts about a "whistleblower") and Peter's appearance at the Symposium.

SoS starts digging and Knisley and Peters try to cover their asses.

[tweet] [link]
Still lots of questions not answered:

Why did Peters contact Gerald Wood to begin with?

Did he know about the scheme? Or was he a patsy?

Who recorded the video posted by Ron Watkins, and provided him with documents and images of the BIOS passwords?

[tweet] [link]
Based off reporting from WaPo (linked above) and the indictment, it seems likely Doug Frank had a hand in connecting Conan with Peters.

But what about USEIP? I have a hunch that they were - at the very least - aware of what Peters was facilitating

[tweet] [link]
I revisited Ron Watkins' "whistleblower" video from 08/21.

I think the person listed as a Dominion employee is, in fact a Dominion employee.

The person asking questions sure sounds like a pitched down Tina Peters - which makes sense, given the new context from the indictment.

[tweet] [link]
Thinking about the theory that Tina Peters is the voice in the video, I pitched it up...and while not conclusive by any means, it sure sounds like her.

[tweet] [link]
Finally, to circle back to this, I am 99% sure that it was in fact Conan Hayes posing as Gerald Wood during the Trusted Build updates in May 2021

By the way both Sandra Brown and Belinda Knisley were at a 8/21/21 rally supporting Tina Peters (whenLindell had her holed up in a safe house)
